Beta-alanine, one of the most popular ingredients in sports nutrition – particularly pre-workouts – is considered a mainstay for the serious strength, endurance and team sport focused athletes. A non-essential amino acid, Beta-alanine Xplode is a flavoured powder packed with 1.3g of beta alanine per serving, as well as L-histidine HCL, creatine and vitamin B6 to help reduce tiredness and fatigue.
When using beta-alanine you need to consume 3–5g per day to increase muscle carnosine content. If you would like to avoid the tingling sensation of beta-alanine - known as paresthesia –instead take 1g four times per day to raise carnosine levels without the side effects.
Consume one serving per day, 30-60 minutes before training. Serving is dependent on bodyweight – use one scoop (3g) if 70kg or less. Two scoops if 70-85kg and 3 scoops if >85kg. Mix with 80ml of water (per scoop).
