What is coconut?  

Coconut is a fruit that grows in many tropical regions around the world and has long been an important product in the kitchen. It can be used in different forms, such as coconut oil, milk, flour or water. Coconut naturally contains a wide range of nutrients, including fats, proteins and fibre. It also contains minerals such as potassium, magnesium and phosphorus. Moreover, coconut contains of antioxidants, which help neutralize free radicals in the body.   

Ground coconut   

Ground Coconut is a versatile ingredient that can be used in many different recipes. It’s made by grating the white flesh of the coconut and drying it. The result is a fine and slightly sweet product that can be used as a flavourful addition to treats like cakes, cupcakes, breakfast cereals, yoghurt bowls, smoothies, cookies and muffins 

If you want to buy ground coconut, pay attention to its quality and freshness. It should have a light and fluffy texture and no unpleasant odours. Store ground coconut in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness.  

Coconut oil
