Preparation Method: How to Make Cinnamon Rolls

If you’ve ever wondered how to make cinnamon rolls healthier without losing that classic softness — this is it.

Step 1: Activate the Yeast

Warm the almond milk gently (not boiling). Mix with No Sugar and yeast in a bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.

Step 2: Make the Dough

In another bowl, whisk coconut oil, egg, vanilla flavouring, and pumpkin purée. Combine with the yeast mixture.

Gradually add flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Knead 3–5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Step 3: Let It Rise

Shape into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in the fridge for 1–2 hours until doubled.

Step 4: Roll + Fill

Roll the dough into a 35x40 cm rectangle. Spray lightly with Smart Cooking Spray.

Sprinkle with cinnamon, No Sugar, and optional pumpkin spice or nuts.

Roll into a log and slice into 12 spirals.

Step 5: Bake

Place buns on a baking tray and let rise another 30 minutes.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–30 minutes until golden.

Step 6: Add Icing

Mix icing ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over warm buns and enjoy! 😍
