I was looking for a convenient pre-workout shot without a lot of sugar. Not sure if it's only me, or if there's an ingredient that conflicts with some other supplements I use, but about 5 minutes after taking the first shot, I felt a strange 'itchy' tingle all over my body. Legs, Arms, Face, Neck... Like a flushing sensation. I stopped my workout to check myself out in the mirror for redness, and fortunately there was none, so I assumed it was best to take it easy and continue on to see how this pans out. After about a litre of water and a slow uphill walk on the treadmill, it subsided. I did eventually feel a post of energy and endurance, but it certainly had the reverse impact on my workout. I had to slow down to keep the tingling under control. Since I bought a 12 pack of these (should have tried a single shot first) I now take only half a shot, with a LOT of water and it's more reasonable. Probably won't buy again and I recommend trying one before buying a pack of these.
