Whey Essential is made from 100% whey protein concentrate, which is a practical, effective and versatile form of dairy protein. What will Whey Essential do for me?
Well, a decent steak (100g) will provide you with 21 grams of protein. As will the same amount of chicken. That’s great, but have you ever seen anyone grill meat in the locker room of the gym? Whey Essential is not going to replace your daily diet, yet it will provide you with an easy way to help reach your protein goals. Each serving is packed with 18-21 grams of protein (depending on the flavour) to support the growth and maintenance of muscles — ideal for all kinds of active lifestyles.
How do I use Whey Essential?
Just mix one scoop of powder with 250ml of water. The scoop is included in every pouch, although you may have to dig around a little to find it. Extra tip: mixing is easiest when you use one of our shakers (unfortunately not included in the pack, but you can check out our shakers here). They either have a little sieve in the lid or a special metal ball that helps you make a perfectly smooth shake. Once made, most people like to enjoy it after their workout or during any active day. How is Whey Essential different from your other whey powders?
As we mentioned earlier, Whey Essential is made from 100% whey protein concentrate. We also use whey protein isolate and whey protein hydrolysate in our products. All three are very concentrated forms of protein, where the excess carbs and fat has been filtered out. Isolate and hydrolysate are the purest and usually used by serious gym-goers, athletes and bodybuilders. Whey protein concentrate is more easy-going, tastes great and is endlessly versatile, making it a great option for sports fanatics and healthy lifestyle lovers in general as well as those who want to build muscle.
Will Whey Essential make me fat?
If you’ve never used protein powder before, we understand you may have some concerns. Just like almost all other foods and drinks, whey protein contains calories, which your body needs to function properly. Only when you consume more calories than you burn will you gain weight. Keep in mind that Whey Essential is low in sugar, so it’s a convenient way to get in your protein without having to consume excess calories. Not everyone is concerned about their calorie intake though. If your goal is to gain weight, simply add in a scoop of Ultra Fine Oats or Natural Peanut Butter (or why not both) to make your Whey Essential shake higher in calories and help you pack on that mass.
Will I get bulky when using Whey Essential?
There are no short cuts to building muscle. It takes months of hard work and dedication to do so.
